  2. All matters relating to the Business of OLA& Parliamentary Affairs.
  3. Creation of Gazetted Posts.
  4. Appointment, promotion,transfer and resignation of Gazetted Officers of and above the rank of Assistant Engineers.
  5. Disciplinary matters of Asst. Engineers and above.
  6. Sanction of prosecution against Gazetted Officers of the rank of Asst. Engineers and above.
  7. Vigilance cases and allegations relating to Asst. Engineers and above.
  8. Creation,abolition and reorganization of Circles,Divn. Etc.
  9. Projects involving international Financial Assistance.
  10. Important correspondence received from/addressed to the Govt. of India and Planning Commission.
  11. Promulgation,Modification,relaxation and Repeal of Rules(Whether statutory or Non-statutory).
  12. Construction f(a) Control Board of Multipurpose Projects,(b) State Flood Control Board and © Other Committees.
  13. Approval for purchase of Machinery & Equipment and Tools and Plants for Irr. Flood Control projects.
  14. Approval for construction of bridges.
  15. Approval to  long term base of Departmental land for a period exceeding one year.
  16. Allocation of Water  to different industries from sources of Irrigation,Multi purpose Projects.
  17. Matters relating to Budget,Cut-motion, Resolution and legislation.
  18. Tender above Rs.5.00 Crores which requires Government approval.
  19. Splitting of works.
