Board is consists of 20 members Including Chief Minister who is the Chairman Chairman and Minster ST & SC Development(SC Dev.) , Minority and Backward Classes Welfare who is the Dy. Chairman Out of the remaining 18 members 16 are MLAs and 2 are MPs belonging to SC category
To look after the programmes implemented for the welfare of SCs

State Level High Power Vigilance and Monitoring Committee,ST & SC Dev. Deptt,
Committee consists of twentyfour members including the Chief Minister who is the Chairman and Secretary, S.T. & S.C. Development Department is the Member- Convenor. Other dignitaries like, Minister,Finance, Minister ST & SC Development (S.C Welfare), Minister (S) ST & SC Dev (ST Welfare,Chief Secretary,Secretary, Home, DG of Police, Director,National Commissioner for SCs and STs,3 MP.s belonging to ST community and 12 MLAs belonging to SC community are the Members of the Community.
To review the implementation of the provisions of the Acts for the welfare of SCs and STs, Relief and rehabilitation facilities provided to the victims

Tribe Advisory Council ST &SC Dev. Deptt, Bhubaneswar
Council consists of Twenty members including the Chairman and the Dy.Chairman of whom fifteen members shall be persons representing Scheduled Tribes in the State Legislature, two members shall be persons representing Scheduled Tribes in the Parliament and one prominent Tribal representative is a member ,where Chairman is the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Orissa and the Dy.Chairman is the Minister in charge of Tribal Development of the state of Orissa.
To review the implementation of the provisions of the Acts for the welfare of STs, to aid and advice the Government on such matters relating to development of tribals as may be referred to the Council
