1) Brief History of the Public Authority:
The District Employment Exchange, Balasore is being headed by the District Employment Officer (D.E.O.), Balasore. Besides, there is a post of Employment Officer (E.O.), a Junior Employment Officer (J.E.O.) and other ministerial staff. There are also two sub offices at Jaleswar and Nilgiri, Where the Junior Employment Officers are head of the offices. The D.E.O., Balasore is answerable to all kinds of employment, Self employment, Mission, Vocational Guidance (V.G.) and Employment Marketing Information (E.M.I.) activities. At present, the following offices (mentioned in Manual-II) are functioning under the control of D.E.O., Balasore.
