Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process
[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]
1. What is the procedure followed to take a decision for various matters ?(A reference to Secretariat Manual and Rule of Business Manual, and other rules/regulations etc can be made):
The Procedure followed to take a decision for decision for decision for various matters at Government level & some decisions with rewards to implementation of Government policy are taken at district level by the concerned committees headed by the Collector of the district as well as public representative in various meeting.
2.What are the documented procedures/laid down procedures/Defined Criteria/Rules to arrive at a particular decision for important matters? What are different levels through which a decision process moves ?:
The documented procedure laid down procedures etc of particular decision for important matters are made as per the precisions laid down in O.R.M and on specific Cases /matters as per the directions issued by Government & Collector from time to time.
3. What are the arrangements to communicate the decision to the public?
Office notice board & Website.
4. Who arc the Officers at various Levels whose opinions are sought for the process of decision making?:
(i) Government in FS & CW Deptt. Represented by the Officers of the ministry.
(ii) The Collector at the district level.
(iii) The decision taken through the various Committees by the people'srepresentatives.
5.Who is the final Authority that waits the decision ?
Absolutely the Government in FS & CW Department and some decisions arc left with Collector of the district.
