Manner of Execution of Subsidy Programmes

[Section-4(1)(b) (xii)] 

 

  • Name of Programme/scheme          : Target Public Distribution System
  • Duration of the programme /scheme: Continuing & no time set
  • Objective of the programme          : Distribution of 25 kg & 35 kg of rice to BPL/ KBK APL families and AAY beneficiaries Respectively @ Rs. 2/- per kg.
  • Physical and financial targets of the programme (for the last year): Under food security programme Rs. 564 crores (including welfare scheme i.e. SC/ST Hostels)
  • Eligibility of Beneficiary: Should be in BPL List. / KBK APL & AAY list.
  • Pre-requisites for the benefit:
  • Procedure to avail the benefits of the programme: Must be in possession of BPL card APL card in KBK & AAY card duly distributed as per BPL/ APL & AAY list.
