Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]

     The procedure as maintained in the Dist. Excise Office is that, letters/ dak, instructions, petitions received that from Govt./ Excise Commissioner, Orissa and other higher authority and general public are placed before the competent authority for consideration and order. The concerned dealing assistant usually puts up the file before the head clerk/ Deputy Supt of Excise. Then the file is placed before the Supdt. Of Excise. After that as and when required under the law, the file will be submitted to Collector for approval/ decision. As per the decision/ order passed instructions/ orders/ letters are sent to different quarters for smooth execution of excise work.
