Procedure Followed in Decision-Making Process

The procedure can be described both in narrative form and through Flow ProcessChart. In narrative form the stages through which a proposal passes the levels atWhich it gets examined and the final authority to which it has to go for approval maybe explained. The Flow Process Charts can give a comprehensive process as may beSeen from the following illustration of preparing a food card.

Such charts may be prepared for major functions.
The Proposal received in the department at diarist level. After being marked by S.O., It is examined in detail in the level of dealing Assistant/ Section officer and submitted to branch officer i.e. under Secy/ Joint Secy. The Final authority is the Com.-cum- Secy. At times where Govt. approval is necessary the Com.-cum-Secy. submits the Proposal for Govt. Approval.
